What changed in MCA V3

The portal was rebuilt, not patched. These are the changes that reshaped how annual filing actually works.

  • Restructured forms

    MGT-7 and MGT-7A, AOC-4 and its CFS, NBFC and XBRL variants, plus AOC-1, AOC-2, CSR-2 and ADT-1 now carry deeper disclosures and tighter field validation.

  • Business User login is mandatory

    Filing requires a registered Business User with a verified role director, practising professional or authorised signatory.

  • Stricter DSC mapping

    A DSC must be mapped to the correct role before a form can be signed. Mismatches stop the submission rather than failing quietly.

  • Linked, not standalone, filings

    AOC-1, AOC-2, CSR-2, the audit report and the Board’s report attach to AOC-4 as linked forms. AOC-4 CFS allows standalone and consolidated filings together.

  • Everything happens in the browser

    Forms are completed against live validation on the portal itself, so the old prepare-offline-then-upload workflow no longer applies to most forms.
